My son, Kevin, was born with severe eczema. His skin was extremely dry and I could not find an effective lotion to soften and heal his skin. I tried every tube, jar and bottle of lotion on Kevin but his skin never seemed to soften.

My quest to find an effective lotion led me to my own kitchen, where I created a lotion with natural oils and herbs to help heal and soothe Kevin's skin. I consulted with traditional herbalists to learn about natural botanicals that promote healing. I wrote my recipes down in a book and found a new passion! Furthermore, the lotion I was making and applying to Kevin began to work over time to penetrate and heal his skin.

Being a resourceful and determined mother led me to making an effective, natural alternative lotion for my son. I loved my new hobby and kicked around the idea of starting a business with my sister, Marina. Needless to say, a few years later, Sister Sky was born. This was a business founded on a need and created with a purpose. Kevin can certainly attest to that!
